Bunny has asked me to show her how to eat Roti Canai in 4 mouthfuls and why you might wanna do that you ask me. Well, for many reasons, imagine you are watching football or your favorite show while having Roti Canai, but once you sink your head down to take a piece of it, suddenly a goal was score or you just miss some important plot on the show. Isn’t that a shame? Or you are on a date with the most beautiful women and all you wanna do it waste more time looking at her than pay attention to your food. Well, with this method of eating your roti canai, you will only have to look down 4 times and you can have the rest of the time doing what your eyes want you to do .So this tutorial is dedicated to my Bunny who I guess is back home in Singapore already, even though Malaysian just lost Pulau Batu Puteh to the Singaporean, but will be a good sports and will not act like a sore loser.(like I care :P)
1. What you need is of course a piece of Roti Canai, or Roti Prada or Telur or Pisang..etc .
2. With your fork and spoon divide it into 4 equal halves.
3. Use your fork and spoon again to fold one of the halves into a size which is able to fit your mouth.
4. Dip it into the curry generously and shove it into your mouth and it will expand and all the curry will just explode in your mouth. Warning: Don’t not open your mouth while attempting this, because it fly out of your mouth and always keep a glass of Ice Milk Tea (Teh Ais) to wash it down in case you choke on it. Besides that you are all good. Enjoy!!!After the show down at the American Idol 7 finale, I thought David Cook was a goner. I have to hand it to David Archuleta for performing like it is the last night on earth and for a moment there, he did convince me that he do deserve the title. David Cook opened the night with a song from a band which I grew up with U2’s I still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For and ended the night with also one of my Favorite songs Collective Soul’s The World that I Know. I think David Cook was a better candidate to receive that honor. Frankly, I wasn’t much of a Cook fan but after his rendition of Mariah Carey’s “Always be my Baby”, I was instantly turned to the Cook side and became one of his supporter. Some of you may argue that his rendition of Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean was the best but it wasn’t original, because David Cook simply just followed the rendition of former Soundgarden and Audioslave’s lead vocalist Chris Cornell (which to me was one of the best rock vocalists). It wasn’t what David Cook came up with himself but Always Be My Baby was an original by David Cook. Mariah Carey wrote a timeless classic but David Cook took it and simply made it immortal. That single performance of that song was enough to convince me that David Cook has what it takes and I am glad that America you have made the right choice of choosing the right person [see here]. Another reason why David Cook became the new idol is because if you notice, after every performance, he just leaves you wanting for more. Now that is what I call greatness in a performer.
